FAQs & Covid Guidelines

Question

Are there Covid-19 restrictions? YES! Updated 9/25

Answer

We would first like to state how excited we are to celebrate our marriage with our closest family and friends! We truly appreciate your attendance and patience during this uncertain time and as such, we also want to prioritize everyone's health, safety, and joy. We will be proceeding with our wedding as planned and follow the most up-to-date CDC and state guidelines for our event. We kindly ask that all guests are vaccinated before attending or if vaccination is not possible (we understand it may not be for some), we ask that you take a covid test to ensure you are covid free before attending our wedding. Additionally, we are requiring that all unvaccinated guests and anyone who wants to, wear a face mask during the event. We love our friends and family and want to celebrate with you all in the safest way possible. Thanks!

Question

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do, but we want our wedding to be your night off! Unless specifically invited as immediate family and/or as part of the wedding party, this is an adult-only affair. We hope you can still make it!

Question

What's with the "unplugged ceremony"?

Answer

We can all agree that after a year of only seeing each other through phone screens and Zoom, being present and in the moment with our loved ones is irreplaceable. During the ceremony we ask that all devices be put away; you may resume taking photos and videos after we say "I Do." We love each and every one of you and want our guests to be fully present during the ceremony not viewing our vows through a screen and more practically, we don't want our professional photos to be ruined by screens and other obstructions. We hope you can respect this request and don't worry, we promise to share our pictures with you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” or is addressed with specific names then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the lawn, but we want you to feel comfortable, so rethink those stilettos in the grass! It will be October in New England so we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl in case it gets chilly.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! However, there is a bit of a walk to the ceremony space, so if you need it, please follow the signs on the day of for drop-off location.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. The meal is served family style and our caterer can provide vegetarian options, but only by request. So, please let us know when you RSVP!
