Tran and Patrick's love story began like every rom-com meet-cute: Patrick was running late to his first day of biology lab at UConn and it just so happened that the only seat left was the one next to Tran. He quickly charmed her with his dad jokes (Tran really just wanted to pass the class) and they became fast friends. Needless to say, a lot of flirtatious banter was exchanged over the dissection of fetal pigs--how romantic, right?! Over the last ten years they've traveled, explored nature, became cat parents, and even bought a condo together. Now, if you were wondering "what took them so long to get engaged?" you weren't alone! Tran was a bit concerned for a while there, but Patrick finally popped the question on July 13, 2019 in Watkins Glen, NY. They are more than eager to start the next chapter of their lives together and to celebrate with all of their family and friends.
