FAQs

Question

What is the plan for the Welcome Event on Friday?

Answer

We are excited to host our guests on a sunset boat cruise! The boat leaves the port at 5:15pm, so please be there by 4:30pm for registration! There will be both food and drinks provided, so please come hungry AND thirsty!

Question

What attire should I wear?

Answer

For the welcome event: Beachy chic. Wear what you would wear out to a nice restaurant during a beach vacation. Casual is fine. There is also an opportunity to get into the water, and the boat includes equipment for water activities. So for those who are interested, feel free to wear a swimsuit underneath. The weather should be perfect for swimming! Please also bring a light jacket as the temperature drops after sunset. For the ceremony and reception: Black Tie optional. We’d love for everyone to dress up and celebrate in style! For the men, if you have a tux and enjoy wearing it, this is the perfect occasion to bring it out. A dark suit and tie are just as welcome. Ladies please choose a floor-length gown that feels festive and elegant.

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass. The reception area is set on a terrace offering a solid, level floor that is ideal for dining and dancing. We recommend choosing shoes that are comfortable and easy to walk and dance in all night!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the wedding events.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

If you’re coming from somewhere chilly, get ready for a treat. Mid to late February in Puerto Vallarta is just about perfect. Expect warm, sunny days in the low 80s °F (high 20s °C), with comfortably cool evenings in the mid 60s °F (high teens °C). Rain is extremely rare this time of year, and the ocean stays pleasantly warm for swimming, snorkeling, and sunset dips. In short, pack your sunglasses, swimsuits, and a light cover-up for the evenings. You can leave the winter coats at home.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding is outdoors right by a private beach.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive at 5pm at Club Regina (Patio los Arcos).

Question

I'm staying at the Westin. Can I walk directly to the venue from there?

Answer

Yes, you can, but you either have to walk out the main entrance and walk down the road (10 minute walk), or you can walk down the beach. Neither is ideal in 80+ degree heat. We recommend grabbing an Uber for $3-4 USD and taking it from the Westin to Club Regina where the venue is located.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! And if you’re coming solo, feel free to arrive single and ready to mingle!
