After Party: parking?

Answer

Parking is limited at The West Village of Shirlington apartment/condo complex. There is street parking on the side street (Check the signs! The nearside is only 4 hours!) There is overflow parking at the parking garage at Barcroft Park, down and across the street. If you need to purchase a West Village guest parking pass, please let us know ASAP! We've bought 3 in advance, for those who may have difficulty walking further distances.

What's "The Big Shebang!"?

"What's 'The Big Shebang!'?, you ask?" We're going to celebrate our 1st year as a married couple with a big party! You can think of it as a "delayed reception." We wanted to keep our ceremony small and intimate, but we also want to share our joy with more people!

Answer

On average, mid-September in VA averages highs in the low-80s, and lows in the 60s. It *can* get humid.

What should I wear?

Answer

"Semi-formal"/"dressy-casual": Gents: no ties required, but they do look nice! :) Ladies: the ceremony will be outdoors, so maybe rethink pointy heels. It might be breezy and cool at some points, so bring a layer. Let's look great, meet new people, eat some delicious food, be comfy, and HAVE FUN! :D
