What is the plan for Friday Night?

Answer

Friday: Meet and Greet starting at 7pm. Saturday: Brunch on the Beach with a group activity/day at the beach to follow. Sunday: WEDDING DAY HOW EXCITING! On Friday, we will meet at an area near the hotel lobby and there will be swag bags per room provided for all those checking in that day. If you haven’t already, please be sure to secure your accommodations.

What will be going on in Clearwater that weekend for us?

From our coordinator Michelle: On a recent trip to the Clearwater area, I was able to check out some of the sites the area has to offer for a fun day on Saturday and I have included a few videos to check out. I was fortunate enough to take a ride on one of the boats made like a big blue shark located in the Clearwater Marina. There are SEVERAL boat tours that take you out to see dolphins, there are a few sunset cruises and even a dinner cruise! Most cost anywhere from $25- $40, with the exception of fishing excursions and jet ski’s…those are a bit more costly. The excursion that I was most impressed by was a tiki hut cruise to a small island. I ran this by our happy couple and they were very much interested! The cost per person would be a little over $50 per person. A group could bring their own liquor and the captain will navigate the tiki hut for a 1 ½ hour tour/excursion. Clearwater has lots of shops and restaurants and of course the beautiful beach. There is a beach in the Tampa area as well that offers a few water sports. Clearwater is a 25–30-minute ride from Tampa. If you haven’t or won’t be securing transportation, Lyft and Uber options are available. The average cost while I was there was $30-35 each way to get back and forth from the hotel to the Clearwater area. Once you are in Clearwater, there is a Trolly with jump on and off options. You can rent golf carts and snazzy little dune buggy’s as well to get around.

What happens on the day of the Wedding?

Answer

Just in case you need to get to the mall for something you may have forgotten and don’t have a car, there will be a designated time on Sunday morning for that. Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding on Sunday. We will leave promptly at 4:15pm and return to the hotel at 9:30pm Sunday night. I am truly looking forward to meeting all of you and honored to be a part of this blessed union.
