Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire (in fall colors, preferably!) suggested, but any jacket/tie and dress that you feel comfortable in works great for us! Our ceremony is indoors and our reception is a indoor-outdoor venue.

What can I expect from the ceremony?

Answer

A joyful worship service that includes our vows, prayers, teaching and songs of worship. We want this to be a spiritually encouraging experience for everyone, so to help us all sing together, we’re sharing a playlist with the songs for our ceremony! What can I expect from the reception?

Answer

Our reception will begin with a traditional Ethiopian welcome and mezmur (worship music) followed by dinner and dancing. If you have any dietary restrictions, please email twlmwedding@gmail.com with your name in the subject line by 09/21! Please note that this will be a dry wedding.

How far away is the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be in the Perimeter Church wedding chapel in John's Creek, GA, and our reception venue is a 15 minute drive away at 173 Carlyle House in Norcross, GA. Both venues have ample parking and if you do not have a vehicle, we'd love for you to Uber!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, unless your invitation includes a plus-one, our venue does not have the capacity for you to bring a date to our wedding.

Our ceremony & reception is adults-only. We appreciate your understanding!

Where did you register for gifts?

Answer

Click the "registry" header at the top of this page! The Zola registry populates on the page, but we've also linked our Amazon registry! We also have a registry at Troup's Hallmark Store in Toccoa, GA for friends who live near Townshend's family. If you prefer to give cash or check gifts, we will have a gift box at our reception.
