Depending on how you want to spend your weekend, we recommend checking out hotels or bnbs in the following areas: Edgewater, Weehawken, and Jersey City in New Jersey are great if you want proximity and easy day-travel into NYC (without the premium hotel pricing of staying in the city) --OR-- locations around Piermont, NY if you want more of a quiet getaway with plenty of gorgeous scenic views :)
