There's a train from the airport ($6) to Center City, 30th Street Station (which also serves Amtrak and regional rail).

30th Street Station is the stepping-off point for regional rail service to Merion Station ( you can also catch this train from other downtown stations: Suburban Station and Jefferson Station) on the Paoli- Thorndale Line, which is a few minutes' walk from the wedding venue. Note: when arriving, you will need to negotiate stairs under the train tracks, and there is a short hill leaving the station.

This is a more suburban location. Nice new hotel, slightly lower rates than the Courtyard Marriott. Right off the highway but not walkable. About a 15 minutes drive to the ceremony site and our house.
