How do I get from the airport to my hotel?

Answer

Tulum is approximately 90 minutes from Cancun International Airport. The easiest way to get form the airport to your hotel is to coordinate with a shuttle service prior to your departure. If you are staying at the Bahia Grand Tulum they offer transportation that you can add. Our travel agent has helps with this. They will collect flight information and pick you up outside the airport. You can request a private shuttle or, for a reduced price, a shared service that may require you drop additional guests off at their hotels. Shuttles are typically priced per trip and not per person so if at all possible, coordinating with other guests is a great option! We are going to do our best to help coordinate shuttles with our guests. If you'd like our help please submit your flight information when you RSVP (we'll ask you for it on that page).

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

The short answer is nope! Taxis are pretty easy to come by, if you are staying at the hotel the concierge desks will call them for you. The Bahia Principle Tulum is a 15 minute taxi to downtown Tulum where you can grab a bike or walk and explore. If you are staying on Tulum Beach everything is walkable, via beach or the sweet little road sandwiched between the jungle and the beach. If you are staying in town, you are anywhere between a 10-20 drive to the beach.

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

There will be a small group of young kiddos present for the wedding. Please let us know if you will be bringing your kids along. Our wedding venue is a 20-minute drive from the Bahia Principle Grand Tulum and 35 minutes from Downtown. We will be coordinating transportation to and from the venue with a bus leaving during the reception and buses leaving after. The party goes until 1am so make sure you plan accordingly for them!

What is beach formal attire?

Answer

Anything you'd wear to a nice restaurant on a summer night is appropriate. Weather permitting, all events will be right on the beach and a grand palapa so dress for the elements. Shoes not required but we suggest bringing them for dancing. We are STILL requesting black attire for the reception/ceremony. We are moving straight from the ceremony to the reception on the same property.
