The most delicious ramen you ever did taste! This place is our top five favorites in the world. I introduced the place to Jake :). It's a must try for any out of town folks! There's multiple locations too (East Austin, North Austin). Our favorite is the #1 Original. We add brussel sprouts in ours because it is so darn good.
Our favorite burgers are here! We don't have a favorite burger because they are all so good here. Beware that the line can wrap around the building, just make sure not to go during peak hours. Milkshakes are amazing, too!
Great sushi, bento boxes, and atmosphere! Right in the heart of downtown Austin, and in walking distance to the lake and downtown shops. We've been here for a few date nights, and we just love the ambience.
If you find yourself in North Central Austin, do stop by this restaurant. This is my favorite sushi place in Austin. Their sushi is delicious, and they have a great Happy Hour Menu from 4-6pm everyday!
Are you craving for Korean BBQ? This is the place to be. We've been here a few times and Jake enjoys their bulgogi marinated meat are saucy and tender. Ask to be at one of the grill bbq tables.
Jake took me here for New Year's Eve two years ago. We've been back multiple times. Good food and good ambience! It's located right in Downtown Austin, and it's in walking distance to the State Capitol building, which is also a must see. You can walk and explore downtown after your meal.

Touring the capitol building is a great and hassle-free way to spend an afternoon in downtown Austin. It's a sight to see! Whether you're a tourist or an Austinite, it's a must see :)
We went here on our first date. We've since then called this place our "stomping ground" and we have returned each year on our anniversary. It's a peaceful and beautiful coffee shop overlooking the lake. You can walk on Lake Austin Blvd into Redbud Trail for a little breath of nature. Visit the Red Bud Isle! If you're hungry, walk over to Abel's on the Lake or Hula Hut for some good food, drinks and relaxation next to the lake!
One of our favorite places in Austin! Peaceful and beautiful. You can see the Austin downtown skyline from here! It's a good trail to see plants, and nature. Great place to take pictures. Jake and I used to catch (and release) butterflies here! This is one of the places where we took engagement photos. September should have flowers, plants and roses still in bloom :) Walk over to Zilker park for more trail walking and nature seeing if that's your thing!
Texas is known for BBQ... taste the famous Salt Lick BBQ while you're here! It's conveniently located only 3-5 minutes from our wedding venue in Driftwood.
Check out the Domain! It can easily fill out your entire day! It's a french style outdoor shopping area with high end shops. The Domain also have places to eat, drink, and stroll. It's known for the Rock Rose which is a hangout area with food during the daytime, and a party area at night.
Do you need some sight seeing and greenery? Take a hike up Mount Bonnell! The view from above is gorgeous. You'll be able to see a few of the mansions on the lake. This is a popular tourist attraction.
Need a hike? This is our favorite hiking path! We hike this a few times a year. In the summer, we take the path to Scuplture Falls to do a bit of swimming. It's one of our favorite things to do during the summer, there's alot of greenery in this trail!
If you want to do a bit of swimming, then check out this place! It's a natural pool, and it's remains between 68 to 74 degrees year round. Don't forget to bring water shoes! I would recommend renting a kayak/ canoe next door an explore the surrounding lake. Very fun!
One of our favorite things to do is to get into our kayaks and roam the lake. You can rent kayaks, canoes, and boats. Locations are all around the lake.
