The dress code for our wedding is Black Tie Requested.
For a Black Tie Requested wedding, men are asked to wear a tuxedo, but it's not a requirement. If you end up going tuxedo-less, though, you should wear a formal dark suit and tie instead. Women can go the long evening gown route, but a dressy suit or shorter cocktail dress is fine too.
We understand that a black tie affair is a bit of a luxury and can be expensive. There are several good options for an affordable evening that will still have you looking lux. For the ladies, RentTheRunway.com is a website that allows for you to rent gowns at an affordable price as opposed to purchasing a dress. Men, most of you have rented a tuxedo before whether for prom or another wedding. In addition to the popular options of Men's Wearhouse or Al's Formalwear, CombatGent.com offers tuxedos to purchase that cost about the same price as it does to rent!

Thankfully, we have a fairly large venue and our guest count is well under the 50% capacity limit instituted by the State. Additionally, we will be organizing a seating chart to keep families together and limit the number of people at one table to make it easier to socially distance. The staff servicing food and drinks will be wearing masks and gloves due to their continuous exposure to all of our guests. The venue will also be equipped with several hand sanitizing stations, which we encourage all our guests to utilize throughout the night. The venue will also have some indications of spacing for lines to the bars.
A mask will be required to enter the Carlisle Room and should be worn when socially distancing is impossible (like they ceremony). We do ask that all guests try to use good judgment in utilizing their masks for their safety and for the safety of other guests. A mask can also be a great way to spice up your black tie ensemble! Don't be afraid to make a statement!
