Matron of Honor
Regan is 15 months younger than me, and truly the first 'best thing' to ever happen to my life. From the moment I met her, I have taken my job as a big sister seriously. I used to carry a little step stool everywhere just so I could peek into her crib and keep watch. We’ve always been polar opposites, but she is the calm to my storm and the perfect balance to my chaos. When we fought growing up, our mom always promised we’d be each other’s maids of honor one day. As usual, she was right. I was so honored to stand by her side on her big day, and I can’t wait to have her right there next to me for mine.
Best Man
Blaise was not only one of my first friends at Grove but also became one of my closest roommates. From the beginning, he’s always had my back in everything I’ve taken on, even in challenges that were pretty much impossible, like my dream of becoming really good at basketball.
Bridesmaid
Jessie and I go back to level 4 of competitive gymnastics. She was actually scared of me at first, but we quickly went from teammates to family. When she quit gymnastics, I thought the world was ending, but even at different schools, we refused to lose each other. Distance has never been a match for us; whether she’s in Charlotte or another country, Jessie has always understood me better than I understand myself. We don’t need to talk every day to stay close, we’re the kind of friends who can pick up exactly where we left off in a heartbeat.
Groomsman
Addison and I survived junior year of college thanks to two things: Star Wars marathons and a mutual agreement that 8:00 AM classes were only a suggestion. He’s been a constant friend through it all, even if his loyalty to the Philadelphia Eagles is a major character flaw.
Bridesmaid
Ness and I have had each other’s backs since Mrs. Hewitt’s kindergarten class. She is the rare kind of friend you don't need a social battery for and is down for any adventure. Want to go to the gym? She’s there. Want to lay in bed watching Law and Order SVU and eat popcorn all day? On her way. Want to go on a road trip to a festival on the other side of the country? She’s packing her bags and thrifting the best outfits for everyone. Vanessa is supportive, brave, loyal and unapologetically HER. Anyone would be lucky to call her a best friend.
Groomsman
From college roommates to family. Chuck has always been the little brother I never had, and we share a bond built on truly understanding each other. From deep late night talks to the comfort of a dead silent car ride, he’s been a constant source of support in my life.
Bridesmaid
I knew the moment I met Claudia that we would be close. As Keith’s older sister, she stepped right into the role of the big sister I always wanted. She is brilliant, fun, and the definition of chic—she approaches everything she does with such grace. I cherish every conversation we have, even if we never seem to have enough time to finish them. I couldn't be happier to officially call her family.
Groomsman
I’ve known Shawn longer than anyone else in the wedding party. From meeting in the 7th grade to staying in touch daily throughout college, our friendship has stood the test of time and distance. He’s been a brother to me for years, and I’m so glad he’s here to celebrate this next step.
Bridesmaid
Nine years ago, Keith and I thought we were the coolest babysitters on the planet, playing Mario Kart until the sun came up. Watching her grow from a sweet, shy girl into such a cool, beautiful, and brilliant young woman has been an absolute joy. Now, I’m lucky enough to call her my go-to buddy for online shopping, reading recommendations, and new music. I am also so excited she is starting college this fall and studying biology!
Groomsman
Jed has been one of my closest friends since college. Between hours on the road and countless adventures, there’s never a dull moment. He has a talent for convincing me to do things I didn’t think I wanted to do, and he’s always right. From keeping me accountable with my studies to pushing me past my toughest hurdles, he’s always motivated me. He is also one of the hardest working people I know, yet he always prioritizes time for the people he cares about.
Flower Girl
Quinn is our three-year-old niece, but don’t let the age fool you, she’s got the soul and sass of a six-year-old. She is smart, athletic, and already suffering from a case of 'eldest daughter syndrome' that rivals even the bride's. Whether she’s deep into a K-pop demon-hunting phase, experimenting with makeup, or demanding everything be pink, she keeps us laughing every day. "Auntie B" and "Uncle Keef" love being her best friends!
Ring Bearer
Our sweet nephew is the happiest little boy, and it’s been a joy watching him grow so quickly. His face lights up the moment he hears his parents or his big sister, and his personality just gets brighter by the day. It is an absolute privilege to be a part of these kids' lives, and we are so honored to have them in our wedding!
