Timberline Condos

This is a great option for families that want to have access to a kitchen for their stay. Please book early as the discount can be pulled at any time. Also, there is a two night minimum. Summer no refund 3 days before arrival. 10% loss between booking and no refund period. A deposit of 50 percent is due at the time of booking. The final payment is due 14 days prior to arrival in the summer.

We don't have a block saved here, but it is in a great location in Snowmass Village convenient for all of the activities.

Flight

Denver International Airport

The Denver Airport is about a 3 1/2 drive to Snowmass through the mountains. It is a beautiful drive that Adam and I have taken often. Please let us know if you have any questions about the route.

Rental Car

Colorado Mountain Express

Colorado Mountain Express has shuttles that run from Denver to Snowmass if you prefer not to drive. If you book individually it is about $120 per person for transportation from Denver to Snowmass and then back to Denver at the end of the trip. If you charter a 10 passenger van through this company it is $78 per person. Once you get to Snowmass, you will not need a vehicle as many hotels include free shuttle service into Aspen or other local areas. There is also a great public transportation system (RFTA) that will get you to most places you would like to go.

Flight

Aspen Airport

Aspen airport is the most convienent airport being only 15 minutes from Snowmass Village. However it is typically double the price to fly into versus Denver so watch pricing carefully. Typically if you book earlier you can get a better rate.

Train

Amtrak

The train is a 27 hour trip from Milwaukee and 24 hour trip from Chicago to Glenwood Springs. Glenwood Springs is approximately a 40 min drive to Snowmass.

Travel Note

RFTA

Snowmass has great public transportation. Several of the routes have free fares (see website) and allows for easy transportation between Aspen and Snowmass if you'd like to explore. There is public transportation that is available from the Aspen Airport to Snowmass Village.
