When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 15, 2026. We’d appreciate it if you could respond as soon as you know your plans, as it helps us finalize details for the weekend.

When should we book accommodations?

Answer

As soon as possible. Chester is a small village and July is peak season, especially over Canada Day long weekend. We recommend booking early to have the best selection.

Question

What about transportation?

Answer

We won’t be providing organized transportation for guests staying farther away due to limited services in the area, but we will have taxis available on site in Saturday evening to help guests get home safely to nearby accommodations in Chester and surrounding area. If you’re staying outside of Chester, we recommend planning a designated driver or arranging transportation in advance. More details will be shared closer to the weekend.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children are very welcome to join us for the night-before celebration on Friday, as well as the ceremony and cocktail hour on Saturday. We’re excited to meet so many of the new little ones who’ve joined our lives over the past year. For the reception dinner and dancing at the Chester Yacht Club, we kindly ask that the celebration be adults-only. We hope this allows everyone, parents included, to relax and enjoy the evening.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We’re lucky enough to already have what we need, and even luckier to be surrounded by the people we love most. Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. For those who have asked, we’ve chosen to create a few cash funds instead of a traditional registry. Contributions will go toward the life we’re building together, our home, our adventures, and taking care of Finnigan while we say I do. Thank you for your love, support, and generousity.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Come dressed to celebrate! Suits and cocktail dresses are perfect. We’ll be in the garden with some grass underfoot, so choose shoes you can enjoy the night in.

Will events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors. Dinner will be held under a tent, and dancing will move indoors later in the evening. The Night Before will be outside, we recommend bringing something to throw over your shoulders.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Absolutely. Expect great food, flowing drinks, and a dance floor that we fully intend to use.

Is parking available?

There is limited parking near the venues. If possible, we recommend carpooling or walking.

What if it rains?

Answer

We have a plan in place to keep everyone comfortable, rain or shine. A little maritime weather won’t stop us.
