We first met on May 5, 2021, at No Surf Beach while we were both attending Point Loma Nazarene University. What began as a simple introduction quickly turned into a genuine friendship. We instantly connected and became friends, each quietly admiring the other from afar without realizing those feelings were mutual. Two years later, fate finally stepped in. In July 2023, we ran into each other at a friend’s birthday party, started talking, and everything seemed to click in a whole new way. Not long after, Nate asked Torina out on our first official date. True to his gentleman nature, he took her to get açaí bowls at Northside Shack, a beloved Point Loma staple. From that day on, we’ve been inseparable, sharing countless laughs and growing together as we do life side by side. On November 7, 2025, Nate popped the question, and it was the easiest “yes” ever. We can’t wait to celebrate our love and begin this next chapter surrounded by all of our favorite people!
