FAQs

Questions? Check here first: If you can't find your answer, feel free to reach out to Torie or Devin. Cheers!
Question

Is the wedding still on?

Answer

Yes! However, due to COVID we have made some adjustments. Our wedding venue is large enough to provide space for those who wish and we will be providing hand sanitizer and masks! We will also have a color coding system for you to display your level of comfort. We all know these are trying times and your health + safety (as well as your level of comfort) is important to us. We have also taken the added precaution of having two time frames for our reception. Please make sure to pay special attention to the reception insert that you had included in your formal invite to know what time to arrive and where the reception is located.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 3, 2020 so we can get accurate numbers to our caterer.

Question

What kind of alcohol will be provided?

Answer

We will be providing Quincy Brewing Company beer (only the finest!) If this isn't appealing to you, please feel free to BYOB (beverage, bottle, beer, ect.) You catch the groove.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we LOVE children, we have decided to only invite children of our immediate family. So get yourself a sitter and enjoy your adults night out!

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We have hired someone we trust to get the shots we are excited for! The pictures you take before/after our ceremony and during our reception, we would love for you to share. Make sure you use the hashtag, #TimeToShakeYourCass!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If this is the case, please text/call Torie at 217-779-2151 so we can make sure to provide you with a meal that suites your restrictions. We want everyone to be pleased!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Walmart + Target as for physical gifts. The links are on the registry tab located at the top of our wedding website. We also have two funds set up: A King Sized Bed Fund so that we can upgrade (our doggos love taking over our space!) and a gift card fund set up through Home Depot. We wanted to provide options to our guests because gifting isn't necessarily always fun or easy!
