Answer

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 6:00 pm Central European Time (CET), but we ask that guests arrive around 5:30 pm to be seated before the ceremony starts. There will be refreshments available.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony? Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not transportation to the venue since we don't have a specified hotel for guests. However, we will be running shuttles starting at midnight. There will be two shuttles with different drop off points near popular areas of the city that should get most people in an easier walking distance to their accommodations. Drop off point one: Piazza del Popolo (this is close to the welcome party venue) Drop off point two: Campo de' Fiori We will also have a guard at the gate who can assist in calling taxis for those staying in other parts of the city.

Question

Is there an afterparty? Is there an afterparty?

Answer

There is no formal afterparty. The reception itself will go until 1:00 am CET, which is likely an afterparty in and of itself for many of us. However, the villa overlooks one of my favorite neighborhoods in Rome: Trastevere. If we're feeling up to it, we might round up the willing troops to explore the nightlife there.

Question
