Zack and Tori met in an act right out of a cheesy Hallmark love story. If you know them, you know that isn't entirely their style, but sometimes that's how the best stories start. One night, both Zack and Tori went to their favorite bar, accompanied by a few friends, human and canine. Tori's dog, Dexter, was a regular at this bar and insisted on meeting Toby, Zack's husky. After a friendly greeting between both dog and human, the dog’s leashes tangled while playing. In Zack and Tori’s attempt to untangle the boys, they broke free and took off full speed down the local greenway together (remember, Dexter was much younger then). About 45 minutes later, Zack returned, the hero, escorting both dogs back to the patio. He was quickly rewarded with a beer and a phone number.

After almost 5 years together, Zack and Tori already bickered like an old married couple, just without the married part. Tori waited impatiently for Zack to propose. Just when she thought it would never happen, Zack found a way to surprise her. Tori was flying in to Pittsburgh for her grandmother's birthday. Zack seized the chance and drove overnight to get there by morning. When Tori landed, her brother and sister managed to convince her they needed to take a detour. That detour led them to Mt. Washington, where Zack waited on an overlook, ring ready to go. After a swift yes, Tori proceeded to ask Zack if he was sure, several times. (Looks like he was.)
