What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal. Dress to impress, and no jeans please. Don't forget to wear or bring some shoes that you can dance in!

Will there be children in attendance?
Answer
The wedding is an adult only event. Due to venue restrictions there will not be anyone under the age of 16 in attendance.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
A parking lot with plenty of spaces just across the street from the venue is available for guests to park in, but please plan a sober ride! NOTE: All vehicles must be removed by midnight; any vehicle parked overnight may be towed.

What is the smoking/vaping policy?
Answer
The Semple Mansion is a smoke-free and vape-free facility. Smoking and/or vaping is permitted outside in designated areas only. Please note that alcohol is not allowed outside, so if you plan to smoke or vape please leave your drink inside the venue or you may be asked to leave.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes! Despite having been built in the 1899, the Semple Mansion has a fully functional elevator as well as a handicap entrance.

What food is being served?
Answer
There will be passed appetizers during cocktail hour. Dinner will consist of a salad and bread to start. The main course will be the option of the following: Short Ribs - slow braised beef short ribs with a red wine demi sauce, served with garlic chive mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Tuscan Chicken - all natural chicken breast filled with spinach, mozzarella & tomato, finished with garlic cream sauce, served with garlic chive mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Stuffed Red Bell Pepper - roasted bell pepper stuffed with quinoa, mushroom & black beans, served atop a puree of white beans. There will be assorted desserts served after the dinner service. A late-night snack will also be provided towards the end of the night.

Do I need to tell anyone about my dietary restrictions?
Answer
No, when you RSVP that you will be in attendance you will be asked to select your choice of meal and you will be asked to detail any and all dietary restrictions that you may have.

Where is the ceremony taking place?
Answer
Both the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception will be taking place at the Semple Mansion.
