Luray Caverns
Luray Caverns, originally called Luray Cave, is a cave just west of Luray, Virginia, United States, which has drawn many visitors since its discovery in 1878. The cavern system is generously adorned with speleothems such as columns, mud flows, stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, and mirrored pools.
The Valley Cork
The Valley Cork is a wine bar and bottle shoppe that was founded by the same couple who established and owns Faithbrooke (Tori & Steven's wedding venue)!
Dirt Farm Brewing
- approx. 1hr 20 min from Luray - Beautiful views and stellar brews! An absolute favorite- This is where Tori and Steven got engaged! They also have a tradition of visiting here every year on their anniversary (ever since the very first year)! Don't be mistaken though, they visit MUCH more often than once a year! This is a bit of a drive from Luray, but would definitely be worth checking out if you're coming in from DC or just looking for some time to kill.
Bluemont Vineyard
- approx. 1hr 20 min from Luray - Bluemont Vineyard is the sister-winery to Dirt Farm Brewing! Owned by the same family and next-door on the same mountain, they have fantastic wines and food, with a very similar (and also beautiful view) to that of Dirt Farm's, overlooking Loudoun and Fairfax Counties.
Henway Hard Cider
- approx. 1hr 20 min from Luray - The newest addition to the family, Henway Hard Cider is owned by the same family who owns Dirt Farm Brewing, Bluemont Vineyard, and Great Country Farms. It's right at the bottom of the mountain where Dirt Farm and Bluemont sit and is right next door to Great Country Farms! It's a great spot to visit for all the cider lovers out there!
Great Country Farms
- approx. 1hr 20 min from Luray - Steven and Tori absolutely love it here! At Great Country Farms, you’ll find much more than pick your own fields and the Farmer Market. Whether you’re young, old, or just not tellin’, there’s something here for the kid in all of us. Attractions include riding the Cow Train, solving the giant Mazes, grabbing some air on the Pumpkin Jumping Pillow, making friends with the goats, hooking the big one at the Fishing Pond, and much, much more!
Hawksbill Trading Company
The Hawksbill Trading Company is a small business incubator offering produce, baked goods, accessories, home goods, antiques, fashion, arts and crafts. Come and celebrate more than forty vendors joining together to grow their businesses here in Luray.
Nest & Hive
Nest & Hive is a unique home decor and gift store, located in beautiful Luray, VA. They opened their new store on Main Street in November of 2020. They specialize in vintage and farmhouse inspired decor, as well as curated gifts and designer made Floral decor.
Car and Carriage Caravan Museum
Located at the Luray Caverns and included in general admission with the caverns, the Car and Carriage Caravan Museum is another major Luray attraction! This specialty museum features an impressive collection of buggies, carriages and antique cars.
Shenandoah Heritage Village

Your journey begins at the Luray Valley Museum which houses historic items from pre-contact Native peoples to life in the bustling 1920s. Continue your exploration across a seven-acre recreation of a small 19th century farming community. This is only a 3-minute walk from the Luray Caverns!
Warehouse Art Gallery
This is a gallery showcasing a wide variety of artwork by local & regional artists in a converted warehouse. The gallery is located in an old warehouse building in historic downtown Luray, Virginia. The Warehouse was opened in 2002 by artist Jim Mayes, as a “Center for the Arts.”
Luray Rescue Zoo
The Luray Zoo is a Rescue Zoo, dedicated to providing animals with a loving and caring home. This small zoo (located on about 3 acres) takes in retired zoo animals, unwanted pets, abused animals, and confiscated animals and provides them with a new, safe, comfortable home! Check out over 100 animal exhibits, a petting zoo, a guided tour, and more!

The Garden Maze at Luray Caverns
Unravel the mystery of the largest hedge maze in the Mid-Atlantic states - a one acre ornamental garden at Luray Caverns. Eight foot tall hedges create a pathway of puzzlement. A misting fog provides cooling and visual effects. On your journey through the maze, you will travel past fountains, through hidden tunnels, and over a lookout tower. A-maze-ing fun!
Luray Singing Tower
The Singing Tower is home to a Forty-Seven Bell Taylor Carillon that was dedicated in 1937. The Carillon is an Old World instrument, originating in Belgium in the early 1620s. A carillon is defined as a musical instrument consisting of at least 23 cast bronze bells arranged in chromatic series and played from a keyboard.
Skyline Drive
This 105-mile scenic drive was built in the 1930's and goes through the entire length of the Shenandoah National Park. Along the way, there are dozens of overlooks to stop at to take in the views, as well as plenty of visitor centers and countless hikes with any variety of intensity. This excursion is completely customizable to you and what type of adventure you're looking for!
Luray Hawksbill Greenway
With two miles of trails, as well as open spaces and scenic rest areas, the Luray-Hawksbill Greenway is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet, watch the wildlife along the creek or go for a walk or jog. The Ruffner Plaza on the Greenway is the center of many music festivals and other local activities.
Shenandoah River Outfitters
For over 50 years, Shenandoah River Outfitters has offered canoe, kayak, raft and tubing rentals on the beautiful Shenandoah River. They also have a 25 site tent campground and 10 log cabins for rent along the river. Offerings also include daily rapid and river trips for all experience levels. Experience nature close up as you float through breathtaking scenery filled with abundant wildlife!
Stony Man Mountain Hike
This is a short and pleasant hike, and has some of the best vistas in the Shenandoah National Park. Little Stony Man, just below the main peak, has a popular rock wall with local climbers. Make sure to pick a haze free day, because you don't want to miss all the views along the the ridge!

The Rope Adventure Park at Luray Caverns
This is your invitation to strap on a harness, step out of your comfort zone, and soar to new heights! Choose between the Low Ropes Course, High Ropes Course, or the Two Level Option. Each course consists of several poles that are connected by different acrobatic elements. The park incorporates a sophisticated safety system using ropes, belay devices and harnesses with trained personnel supervising every participant.

Hawksbill Brewing Company
Luray's original craft brewery - "Grown here, brewed here." The inspiration for Hawksbill Brewing Company originated in 2015 with the local farms of Page County. They set out with the goal of using local ingredients in our beers whenever they could, starting with hops grown in Luray, Virginia.
Castle Vineyards
Castle Vineyards is a wine tasting room and vineyard located north of Luray, VA in Page County. They exclusively offer wines aged and bottled by Barren Ridge Vineyards. Castle Vineyards gets its name from the family's father/grandfather Ralph Castle Davis, a local businessman and farmer. The vineyard is growing on a working cattle farm, so you may even get to enjoy the company of the animals!
Broad Porch Coffee Co.
Broad Porch Coffee Co. originated in Harrisonburg, VA, but has just opened this new location on Main Street in Luray! This coffee shop offers a full menu of brewed coffee, espresso drinks, and teas, as well as their roasted coffee. Guests are welcome to stay and enjoy their drinks in this uniquely warm and inviting space.
