Luray Caverns, originally called Luray Cave, is a cave just west of Luray, Virginia, United States, which has drawn many visitors since its discovery in 1878. The cavern system is generously adorned with speleothems such as columns, mud flows, stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, and mirrored pools.
- approx. 1hr 20 min from Luray - Beautiful views and stellar brews! An absolute favorite- This is where Tori and Steven got engaged! They also have a tradition of visiting here every year on their anniversary (ever since the very first year)! Don't be mistaken though, they visit MUCH more often than once a year! This is a bit of a drive from Luray, but would definitely be worth checking out if you're coming in from DC or just looking for some time to kill.

Owned by the same family and next-door on the same mountain, they have fantastic wines and food, with a very similar (and also beautiful view) to that of Dirt Farm's, overlooking Loudoun and Fairfax Counties.

It's right at the bottom of the mountain where Dirt Farm and Bluemont sit and is right next door to Great Country Farms! It's a great spot to visit for all the cider lovers out there!

Unravel the mystery of the largest hedge maze in the Mid-Atlantic states - a one acre ornamental garden at Luray Caverns. Eight foot tall hedges create a pathway of puzzlement. A misting fog provides cooling and visual effects. On your journey through the maze, you will travel past fountains, through hidden tunnels, and over a lookout tower. A-maze-ing fun!
The Singing Tower is home to a Forty-Seven Bell Taylor Carillon that was dedicated in 1937. The Carillon is an Old World instrument, originating in Belgium in the early 1620s. A carillon is defined as a musical instrument consisting of at least 23 cast bronze bells arranged in chromatic series and played from a keyboard.
This 105-mile scenic drive was built in the 1930's and goes through the entire length of the Shenandoah National Park. With two miles of trails, as well as open spaces and scenic rest areas, the Luray-Hawksbill Greenway is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet, watch the wildlife along the creek or go for a walk or jog. Castle Vineyards is a wine tasting room and vineyard located north of Luray, VA in Page County. They exclusively offer wines aged and bottled by Barren Ridge Vineyards. Castle Vineyards gets its name from the family's father/grandfather Ralph Castle Davis, a local businessman and farmer. The vineyard is growing on a working cattle farm, so you may even get to enjoy the company of the animals!
