Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Tori Schach and Sander Mohn
Rosemary Beach is full of things to do. From exquisite dining and dive bars—with walls adorned with dollar bills —to sunset cocktails and beach fun, you won’t run out of activities. We only ask that you are there to celebrate the wedding and reception, but we do invite everyone to relax, take a day or two away, and vacation with us! Here’s a list of some of our favorite places and things to do, plus a couple of insider tips & tricks. Also, a special thank you to our fabulous family friend and co-owner of my family’s Rosemary Beach home, John Norton, for some insider information!

Have a Beach Day

Have a Beach Day

124 Hope Town Ln, Rosemary Beach, FL 32413

• When Sander and I go to Rosemary, we spend the majority of time on the beach. The sand is absolutely incredible, and the sunsets are blow-your-mind beautiful. You are welcome to bring a cooler down to the beach, but one warning: glass is not allowed on the beach — even hidden in your cooler. Beach patrol drives around and checks for glass, so make sure to buy canned beer (or pour your beer into a container before heading to the beach), and only bring plastic cups. Also, there are chairs that you can rent on the beach, but do not sit in the chairs set up unless they have your name on them, as they are reserved.

Bikes & Rentals

Bikes & Rentals

78A N. Barrett Square, Rosemary Beach, FL 32461

Rosemary Beach and surrounding areas are incredibly walkable — or bikeable! Sander and I once biked a total of 22 miles on his 22nd birthday to Seaside and back (not recommended with these leisure bikes while wearing jean shorts.) Bamboo Bicycle Company is located right in downtown Rosemary Beach, and you can rent bikes for just a day or several days. They also have other rental products like kayaks and paddle boards

Groceries & Alcohol

Groceries & Alcohol

-CK Feed & Supply: This is a gourmet grocery, located right in downtown Rosemary Beach. You won’t find everything here, but you will find wine, specialty foods, craft beer, delicious dips, chips, snacks, gifts, & more. -Publix Super Market at Ocean Park Pavilion: This grocery is just 3 miles away! You can either drive or take an Uber and pick up all your grocery needs. They even have beach chairs, inner tubes, and towels. -Kwiker Liquor: Kwiker Liquor is right next door to Publix. Hard alcohol cannot be sold in a grocery store, so this is a great spot to pick up all the necessities for margs. As a reminder, no glass on the beach, so make sure to pick up plastic cups!

Fishing

Fishing

Visitors to Rosemary Beach will find a number of incredible fishing opportunities available along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Whether deep-sea fishing on boats chartered out of Panama City Beach and Destin, ‘the world’s luckiest fishing village,’ or simply casting a couple of lines from the beach, the Gulf of Mexico provides chances to fish for sport or even a delicious freshly caught meal. Fishing from the beach? It's recommended to fish using a Pompano rig with shrimp, sand fleas, or mullet for bait and throwing just short or past the first sand bar.

There isn’t much late night food delivery aside from good ole Domino’s Pizza, so be sure to either stock up on frozen late night snacks at the grocery or eat somewhere nearby. Shades Bar & Grill – walking distance from Rosemary Beach – is a fun bar and also offers a late night menu.
