A Weekend To Remember

Nakari's Perspective It all started with a simple Instagram DM about Playa Bowls—one of our favorite snacks—on February 25, 2022. I messaged Tori about the bowl she posted… even though, truthfully, I didn’t care much about the bowl itself. I just wanted a reason to talk to this beautiful woman who always stopped me in my tracks whenever she posted. I asked if I could take her out for Playa Bowls. To my surprise, she said yes. But I wanted to make a great first impression, and Playa Bowls didn’t feel like enough. So I switched things up and planned a date at the High Museum and dinner instead. The date went better than I could’ve imagined—and so did the next three years. Throughout our relationship, Tori has completely changed my perspective on love, life, and true happiness. From the moment Tori came into my life, I’ve done nothing but prosper. And by the grace of God, that’s why you’re here now—reading the story of how we came to be. Tori's Perspective It all began February of 2022 when I received a DM from Nakari asking me where I got a playa bowl that I posted on my Instagram story. Little did I know he for sure knew where it was from and had been there countless times himself, but he just needed a way to talk to me. We began to talk and he quickly asked me out on a date that same day. I knew immediately after our first date to The High Museum and dinner that there was something special about him. But, even though I knew he was special I wasn't quite ready to hand over my heart. Over time, Nakari showed me that not only was he special but he was a man I could count on and trust. I wasn’t looking for love, but everyday I am so glad that God sent Nakari for me.
