Yes! We have chosen to have a private Catholic ceremony in Ohio prior to our DC wedding, but this will not give us the opportunity to recite our own vows or include the things that make our relationship unique. During our weekend in DC, we will have a ceremony that will allow us to exchange our vows, reflect on our journey, and officially celebrate our marriage alongside our family and friends.
We're asking our guests to come in formal attire, which means long or tea-length dresses for the ladies and suits for the gentlemen. Please note that our venue requires that guests wear shoes at all times, so bring dancing shoes to change into if you'd like!
Elevated casual! Wear whatever you would to grab drinks at a cocktail bar - dresses, chinos, and nice jeans are all acceptable.
We love your kids, but due to space constraints, this will be an adult-only weekend.
We ask that attendance be limited to those whose names are listed on our formal invitations.
Since the hotels are walking distance to the venue, this won't be necessary! If you are physically unable, we recommend getting a ride share, as parking around the venue will be both very limited and very expensive.
