We met at a tailgate while attending law school at the University of Illinois. We quickly bonded over our shared love of chili-cheese dip (if you've had it, you know)! After exchanging emails (very law school) the rest is, as they say, history. Over the past two and a half years, we have loved learning more about each other and enjoying life through new experiences, including Elliot's first rodeo and Tori's first outdoor camping trip. On May 9, 2021, Elliot proposed at the Lincoln Park Zoo, overlooking downtown Chicago. It was a cold, but sunny day. Tori had no idea about Elliot's plan to use her love of animals as cover for the big moment, but she didn't mind. That night, we celebrated with steaks and truffle mac n cheese at one of our favorite restaurants and came home to a surprise party at our apartment (which our front desk security nearly ruined). Fast-forward to today, and we are loving every second of being engaged and planning our future adventures! We continue to live in Chicago with our beloved dogs, Rumple (a/k/a Mr. B) and Shadow (a/k/a Mr. S), who will definitely be making an appearance at the wedding!
