Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

No need to pull out the suits and gowns! The dress code for our wedding is beach wedding attire. Ladies, you can wear anything from a cocktail style dress to a fun jumpsuit/romper! Gentleman, you can wear anything from a dress shirt and pants to linen shorts and a nice top! Please remember to wear sunscreen and a smile! *Shoes optional during beach ceremony!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The daily high temperatures for early October around Clearwater Beach are between 73°F and 90°F. Fall in Florida is typically lower humidity.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony and dinner reception will be at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach Hotel. Once you arrive at the Hotel, you will be directed to the beach for the ceremony. We will have a cocktail hour followed by our Dinner Reception in the Pelican Room! * If you need assistance walking to the beach or use a mobility device that is not beach friendly, please let us know so we can make arrangements for you!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests will be directed inside the hotel for cocktails on us!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

5:30 PM We would love you all to arrive about a 30 minutes before our ceremony so we can get this party started on time! There is a wonderful bar inside the hotel as well as several indoor and outdoor lounge areas.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is limited parking at the hotel so here are a few parking options that are all within a 1-3 minute walk from the hotel. Pier 60 - If you park at pier 60 parking, it costs $3 per hour Street Parking - You can use parking meters in the street with $1.25 per hour Surf Style Parking Garage $20 - This garage charges by the day and not the hour so it is a great option for those who would like to arrive a little early and spend some time taking in the sea. Valet - The Wyndham is offering our guests a discounted valet rate. Just pull right up to the hotel.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We will have a few kids at the wedding, including ours! You are welcome to bring your little ones, however we are going to have a "kid send-off" around 9:30-10PM so the adults can enjoy the last few hours of the party!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have rooms blocked at the Wyndham Grand Hotel (https://book.passkey.com/go/PhillipsCrabtreeWedding) but you are welcome to stay anywhere you would like! Please visit the "Travel" section of our website for links and details on recommendations!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please use our RSVP tab at the top of our page to RSVP. If you are not able to, just text the bride and she will respond for you!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving a plated dinner and will have an open bar at the reception!

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes, Please let us know as soon as possible if you have specific diet restrictions so our chef if prepared with options!

Do you have a Registry?

Answer

We have a cash fund option under the "Registry" tab if you would like to donate to our HONEYMOON fund!
