Memorial Union
Tori and Louis met at the Memorial Union and it is one of the most special places in Madison to them and to most of the city. Memorial Union is truly the heart of Madison. Get a pitcher at Der Rathskeller and try to translate the German writing on the walls.
The Plaza Tavern
Truly the dive-iest dive bar ever built. Tori and Louis spent nearly every Thursday night in college here enjoying $2.50 long island iced teas. The cheapest, strongest drinks in Madison.
Mint Mark
Tori and Louis started coming here together right when it opened and loved sitting at the kitchen counter and chatting with the chefs. The small plates here change frequently but the biscuit is always on the menu and it is so good that Tori and Louis considered having a stack of them instead of a wedding cake.
One Barrel Brewing Company
The cutest dang bar in the city, right across the street from Tori's last solo apartment before she and Louis moved in together. Cozy up with a game and some of the best beer in town, brewed in-house.
Short Stack Eatery
An all-time favorite brunch spot for Tori and Louis. Get the blind special and let them make you whatever you want for a discount (or just get the breakfast sandwich on spicy cheese bread if you want something that is guaranteed to blow your mind).
Weary Traveler Freehouse
There is nothing better on a cold winter's night than a Ginger Ninja - a hot cocktail that warms the soul and the fingers. If you're not planning on kissing anyone and love garlic and blue cheese, we also heartily recommend Bob's Bad Breath Burger.
Old Sugar Distillery
This distillery is right across the street from Hotel Indigo. All of their drinks are made with their house-distilled spirits and their famous Honey-Cap is one of the best cocktails in town!
Alchemy
Tori lived in the apartment building directly behind Alchemy and considered it an extension of her living room. Check out the stuffed grilled cheese!
Michael's Frozen Custard
Get a sundae (any sundae) and thank us later. Yes we know it's January, it's worth it!
Grace Coffee Co.
Right around the corner from Tori and Louis' first apartment together, head here for a great cup of coffee, some excellent baked goods (cookie dough-stuffed croissants, anyone?), and if you're lucky, a greeting from Pablo, the resident Bernese Mountain Dog.
