FAQs

If you have any questions beyond what is listed here, please reach out to to the Maid of Honor, Molly Dexter, at (715) 563-7897.
Question

Oh no, Omicron is making me reconsider my RSVP! What should I do?

Answer

We totally get that, this virus is changing all the time and we all have to constantly re-evaluate our decisions about how we're keeping ourselves and our families safe! If you previously RSVP'd "Yes" but are now second-guessing that decision, we totally understand - just let us know! We still love you all the same :)

Question

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Dane County is under an indoor mask mandate until February 3rd, 2022 so masks will be required outside of our private event space when not eating or drinking. Feel free to bring your own masks, and we will also provide masks by the entrance of the venue for anyone who does not have their own! Garver Feed Mill will be open to the public until 10 PM on the day of our wedding so please be courteous to the venue staff and the general public and keep your mask above your nose and mouth when entering the shared areas of the venue to use the restroom.

Question

What are you doing about COVID-19?

Answer

COVID-19 has been a part of our story since the proposal, so we are very aware that this is an ongoing issue and we have already postponed our date once (from May of 2021 to January of 2022) in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. Our number-one priority is keeping everyone healthy and in order to do that we have chosen to limit our wedding to vaccinated guests and selected a venue that is extremely roomy and has a state-of-the-art air filtration system which allows for ample circulation and ensures we can accommodate all 175 guests safely. To help us keep everyone safe, we encourage you all to get your boosters as soon as you become eligible and get tested ahead of the wedding if you are able, especially if you are traveling from out of town! If the ever-evolving COVID situation causes your plans to change, we absolutely understand and just ask that you keep us updated.

Question

Are you requiring that guests be vaccinated for COVID-19?

Answer

Yes! If you have a medical exemption please reach out to us but otherwise we will only be allowing vaccinated guests to attend our wedding.

Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, Hotel Indigo will be running a shuttle back and forth all night. If you are staying at the hotel, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle so that you can party worry-free! Check out our Travel & Accommodations page for more information (including shuttle times).

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We’ve chosen to limit our guest list to those sixteen and up, and we hope you understand and can use this as an excuse for a parents’-night-out! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help make this easier for you.

Question

What about furry kids?

Answer

Though critters aren't allowed at our ceremony and reception venue, Hotel Indigo is dog-friendly so your pooch can accompany you on your trip to Madison!

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free parking at Garver Feed Mill where the ceremony and reception will be held. However, if you plan to drink, PLEASE choose a designated driver or take advantage of the plentiful cabs, Lyfts, and Ubers that Madison has to offer. If things get a little more out of hand than you planned (we've all been there), please feel free to leave your car parked at Garver overnight and pick it up after a strong cup of coffee the next morning. We want you to make it home safely above all else!

Question

I have a special dietary or accessibility need, can you accommodate me?

Answer

When you RSVP, you will be able to share any accommodations you may need to comfortably attend our wedding and we will do our very best to make sure you are taken care of!

Question

Anything else?

Answer

This wedding is inclusive and safe for people from all walks of life. If you cannot conduct yourself respectfully around members of the LGBTQ community, people with different abilities, or BIPOC, we would rather you not celebrate with us and ask that you stay home for the comfort and safety of our loved ones.
