Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park

MT

Glacier is one of our favorite places in Montana (so much so that's where we had our engagement photos taken). It is about a 2.5-hour drive from Missoula, but is definitely worth the drive if you will be in Montana for more than the weekend. If you are interested in going, please note that vehicle reservations are required to access Going-to-the-Sun Road from the west entrance and North Fork entrance from 7am-3pm throughout the summer. You can purchase a vehicle reservation through the above website 120 days before your preferred dates. You will need a vehicle reservation for each day you plan to visit the park. They also offer next-day vehicle reservations for those who like to live on the edge! Please know that sometimes Going-to-the-Sun Road is not fully open until July due to avalanche risk. However, there is still lots to do in the park if it isn't open yet!

Zootown Music Festival

Zootown Music Festival

There's nothing we like more than a good concert! Missoula just announced a new music festival this year called Zootown. They have some pretty big artists playing (including Hozier, Kacey Musgraves, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and Mt. Joy, among others). This is scheduled for the weekend after our wedding (July 4th and 5th) if you plan to make a week-long trip out of the wedding!
