We love your little ones! However, due to limited space at our venue we have decided to keep our wedding adults only with the exception of the groom's niece and nephew. We encourage you to use this as a date night to get out and have some fun!
Yes, we would love to see our family and friends dressed up! The Welcome Party's dress code on Friday night is cocktail attire. Cocktail attire for women includes cocktail dresses, skirts, and jumpsuits. Cocktail attire for men includes slacks, no tie, and optional sport coat. The Wedding's dress code is formal attire. Formal attire for ladies includes floor-length, tea-length, or midi-length formal dresses. We kindly ask that ladies refrain from wearing champagne and colors typically reserved for the bride (white, cream, ivory, etc.). Formal attire for men includes suit and tie.
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30. We recommend arriving between 5:00pm and 5:25pm.
Yes, there is valet parking at Hotel Riggs for an event rate of $25.
During the Welcome Party on Friday night, there will be an open bar from 8-11pm and we will be serving desserts. Please have dinner before. During the Wedding, we will be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a seated dinner, and, of course, cake. There will be an open bar.
All events are indoors. However, guests will be able to hang out on the rooftop terrace during the reception.
First off, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! We recommend staying at the wedding venue Hotel Riggs. However, there are many great hotels walking distance to Hotel Riggs. We have listed some recommendations under the Travel tab.
There are three DMV-area airports - Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). See additional information under the Travel tab.
