FAQs

Question

What are you doing in response to holding your wedding during the COVID-19 outbreak?

Answer

This was a big talking point for Melissa and I, and we care deeply about the safety of our guests who choose to attend our wedding. The entirety of our wedding is being held outdoors, where the air ventilation is better than that of an indoor event. We will also have various stations of hand sanitizer positioned around the venue for you to use whenever you like. Lastly, we are working with the venue to have the ceremony seats spaced apart as much as reasonably possible to create distance between you and the next person. We’d love to have you, but if you can’t make it, we completely understand and will miss you greatly!

Question

What can I do in response to attending a wedding during the COVID-19 outbreak?

Answer

First and foremost, if you are feeling unwell or are otherwise unable to attend, we completely understand. We’ll miss seeing you in person, but we’re working on setting up a virtual Zoom meeting room for those who cannot attend and still wish to view the ceremony. In regards to wearing a face mask, we are not requiring our guests to wear one. However, if you feel more comfortable wearing a face mask during the event, we will provide one for you to wear if you wish. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We prefer semi-formal; tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Also please note that the ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors in a covered gazebo and tent. Please dress to your comfort level for the weather the day of. Typically, temperatures in mid-September here average in the mid-70’s, dropping into the mid 50’s at night.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We prefer that you RSVP by August 18th, one month before the wedding date. When you RSVP, there should also be a drop-down menu to select your meal choice for dinner.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a very large parking lot at the event.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, the hotels we placed room blocks with do not offer shuttle service to and from the hotel and Seven Seas. If you plan on drinking, we recommend you to use a third-party ride sharing service, such as Uber or Lyft.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, but if you wish to purchase anything from our registry, we are registered with Zola and Amazon, and everything that we registered for is accessible thru the “Registry” tab at the top of this website. If you can’t find anything, we also have 2 cash funds set up; one for a honeymoon, and one for a home down payment.
