We are getting married!

Kirsten's childhood best friend, Kendra, was staying the weekend at her Newport Shores house and asked if her college friend and his friend "Tony" could come over to hang out one Saturday in May 2007. Kirsten had met most of Kendra's college friends - friend's and thought nothing of it. The minute Tony walked in her door, Kirsten's eyes widened and posture perked up! We all played cards "Kings Cup" for the rest of the day and Kirsten and Tony exchanged numbers. 4 weeks later (!!), Tony asked Kirsten if she wanted to join his family on a trip to Lake Havasu for 4th of July. A FAMILY trip for a weekend?! Kirsten's father, Kyle, said "You've never been - Go experience life, what have you got to lose?!". Fast forward 12 years later, with you all by our sides!!!!

We were in Padang-Padang, Bali with Tony's brother, Tyler, Tyler's girlfriend Selina, and Tony's longtime best friend, Trevor. We had the most magical day!! We woke up to the waves crashing, had balinese iced coconut coffees and breakfast beachfront, with the local balinese servers singing us "Hotel California". We surfed outer Padang-Padang point with only us in the lineup, crystal clear, glassy water, and wave after wave! A moment in time I (Kirsten) will never forget. We all soaked up the sun on the beach for the rest of the day, swimming often to cool down. We had plans to go to Uluwatu to watch the sunset, but Tony had other plans in mind and decided that today was "the day"! While Kirsten was getting ready for sunset + dinner, Tony + Trevor + Tyler were planning and planting camera's on Trevors balcony to capture the moment at Padang-Padang sunset. They almost missed the sunset, as Tony very sweetly tried to coax Kirsten to "hurry up because we'll miss the sunset!". As Kirsten arrived to Trevor's balcony, Tony asked Kirsten to see the sunset with him. She took in the sunset, then turned around to find Tony on one knee. It was the most PERFECT day in our favorite place in Bali!!
