Ariana and Gillian met at a physical therapy conference where they hit it off and instantly became mutually obsessed with each other. Their daily phone calls led to Gillian to move to Chicago, so she may be the reason Gillian and Tony even met! Living in the same city has been the absolute best, allowing for many evenings spent together drinking wine. Known for being aggressive in the best way, this fiercely loyal woman also shares Gillian's love of all things football. Ariana is also mother to our cute flower girl Penny!

Ben Walter

Ben is Tony's younger cousin, much younger than him (12 days). Ben was the first of Tony's family to meet Gillian and they placed 2nd at trivia in Lincoln Square that first night (out of two teams). He's blessed with an infectious laugh, and he has a vivacity for life, camping, biking as well as composting. He blesses us with his thighs and his baking. Stay on your toes as he is apt to ask you thought provoking questions or bend your conduit. Be sure to ask him for a picture of his cat, Dog.

Gillian met Ally on their first day of undergrad at Wingate University. Ally is one of the most genuine and authentic people you'll ever meet. She is an experienced international traveler and has the best suggestions for your next trip! Ally has perfected not only the art of photography (visit alexandriayepsen.com if you don't believe me) but also knows how to make each person feel important, loved, and never left behind. Queen of spontaneity, one time visited Gillian in Las Vegas for less than 24 hours to attend the Academy of Country Music Awards with her!

As Jake Gamboa Succinctly put it "If you could describe Jonathon in two words, they would be, "makes his own rules"". He is the ultimate hype man, lover of wrestling, corn on the cob, popcorn and scary video games. He loves his cats Mia and Missile Launcher and being suplexed through tables. He's best known for his thoughtful gifts and his willingness to do anything for the bit. This man loves movies so much he even has a dedicated seat at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago.

Gillian met Bryn when she sat next to her on the first day of PT school. Their shared love of the Green Bay Packers, cheese, and their profession has led to a lifelong bond. Bryn never forgets the small details and shows her love through her actions. Despite both these ladies moving multiple times, they always traveled to see each other through each stage. Bryn now also lives in Chicago and we couldn't be happier!

The most infectious laugh and one of the most critical thinkers I know, I always value Jake's thoughts on life, work, finances and anything in between. He's always got your back and will support you no matter what. Whatever you do, don't leave us alone on a sled hill or with an Xbox controller and GTA V in the console. From day one, she made me feel completely welcome in the family and like an instant friend. She’s the amazing mom of our flower girl, Kit Kravitz, and the wife of groomsman AJ.

Tony's brother-in-law and Ellie's Husband, not to mention Kit's dad. He joined me in a Fraternity at school and fined me one time for not showing up to a cleaning. One time he caught a fish and bit its head off. AJ confides in me with jokes he can’t tell Ellie. He is one of the most caring, dedicated, even-keeled and genuine people I know. He’s the perfect mix of playful, serious and supportive. AJ is an awesome person, and I'm blessed to have him in my life and standing beside me.

Hannah Gallo

Hannah is Tony’s youngest sister and the fiancée of groomsman Nick Poremba. She will absolutely kick your ass at a game of Nertz, yet somehow has the patience to teach high school history. When she’s not in the classroom, she’s usually game for a great Broadway show or have dinner over a glass of wine and is a devoted cat mom to Figgy.

Tony met Nick when Nick and Tony’s sister Hannah started dating in 2017. Nick quickly endeared himself to the family and is lovingly known as "Nicky P" and "Uncle Nicky" They share a love of all things Illini, Bears and occasional off the cuff rude comments about people who walk marathons. If you're playing Backyard Baseball on the PlayStation, you want him on your team. He also has a scorebook he brings to baseball games and fills out during the game; it's awesome.

Jordan and I clicked instantly— while at a friend’s birthday party, where she casually told Tony and I that she was pregnant. We bonded over excellent gossip, shared food, and unleashing our crafty, creative sides. She’s the amazing mom of our ring bearer, George, and the wife of groomsman James.

Tony and James' friendship really blossomed after college having been in the same Fraternity and pledge class. James was the catalyst for Tony picking up the bass guitar as a Covid hobby and they have recorded both podcasts and demos together in the Conlon's basement studio which will likely never see the light of day. James does stand-up in the Chicago area so you should ask for his autograph when you see him. There are few pleasures in life greater than sitting on the Conlon’s back patio under the pergola with their dog Milly by your side, beer in hand and James on the grill. James and his wife Jordan are the parents of our ring bearer George!

Vanessa and I met when I first moved to Chicago—she and her husband Adam showed up at the U-Haul to help me move without even really knowing me. Legendary behavior. Since then, we’ve shared countless memories over drinks, parties, couch days, and working side by side. Fiercely loyal and always there when you need her, Vanessa is truly one of a kind.

Ty Zacker

Ty is an acclaimed sender of memes and is a meatball eating contest medalist. Tony and Ty have completed B1G 10Ks together and revel in the early morning beers shared after the race watching the American Cornhole League. He loves to laugh, have a good time and also goes all out for the bit. He's a Packers fan like Gillian so at least Tony and Ty's Fiancée Jess can hold it down. Ty is a solid golfer and avid trivia goer so be sure to get him on your squad while out on the links or while playing trivia. Ty is one of Tony's pledge sons from their Fraternity days.

Cammi Muhr

Cammi and Gillian were inseparable as kids, friends for over 27 years; their friendship started at gymnastics. Whether it was laughing for hours just because the other one was laughing, or being a shoulder to cry on, Cammi has been a constant throughout Gillian's life. Always down for an outdoor adventure, these two have shared countless hikes, jeeping and camping trips together. Our wedding day wouldn't be complete without her!

Tony met Lucas and his fiancée Dani while Tony managed a gym in Chicago. They all hit it off while on a "Friend Date" at a now defunct Mexican restaurant in Edgewater. In the years since they have frequented concerts, sporting events, rock band nights and saying curse words while goalkeeping for a rec soccer team at the Fire Pitch. Chrissi and Gillian met in high school on the diving team, and this true gem of a human has been showing up ever since. She always goes out of her way for the people she loves, and I’m honored to be one of them. A gluten-free queen who still knows how to have a very good time over dinner and drinks.

Tony met Dan at a cigar night with Jake Gamboa and they hit it off instantly bonding over obscure bands and post-hardcore music. Dan loves to cook and host and makes a mean crab boil despite being allergic to shellfish. He's an amazing dad and makes you feel like you're the most awesome person all the time. He's never met a mosh pit he didn't like. Dan is a joy to be around and hopefully one day you're lucky enough to enjoy his campfire cooking.

Edria is truly the best thing that’s ever happened to my brother Matt—and I love the love they share. She’s a wealth of knowledge on animals, harvesting, growing food, and cooking healthy family meals, but will also sneakily have you belly-laughing over a game of Cards Against Humanity. Hanging out with her is always a highlight when we visit.

Andy is Tony's uncle, and he was the second family member to meet Gillian. He is the reason Tony had sideburns and so desperately wanted to go to the University of Illinois. Andy is the uncle that hangs out like a cousin. He is always up for concerts, sporting events, a bike ride, playing rec soccer and just grabbing a cold pint of a local craft beer. He's never met a stranger, and we could not be more elated to have him officiate our wedding.
