What Should I Wear? Is There a Dress Code?
Answer
Imagine you've been invited to a royal garden party. What would you wear? A floral tie? A pastel suit jacket? A skirt adorned with embroidered flowers? A short, flirty dress? The options are endless, we just ask that you be classy, creative, comfortable and feel like a million dollars. Let our theme of "Garden Party" inspire you!

How's the Weather?
Answer
Much like its politics, Chicago is unpredictable. However, we chose September specifically as it's a perfect bridge between summer and fall. You can expect sunny, relatively warm weather during the early parts of September. We hope for no rain, but you never know. Come prepared.

What Are Your COVID Protocols?
Answer
We are hoping cases continue to decline and mandates will stay lifted for our day. However, we know COVID has been unpredictable over the last 2 years, and we want our guests to be safe and healthy. Please continue to check this section for COVID protocols as we get closer to our date.

Will the Ceremony and Reception be Indoors or Outdoors?
Answer
Both indoors! There is a small courtyard attached the venue for anyone who needs some air, but otherwise, we'll be rocking the ceremony and reception indoors at Room 1520.

What Happens After the Ceremony?
Answer
The party starts! Guests will be welcomed to the main lounge area while the venue works to transform the ceremony into the dining/dancing area! While they do their magic, we will be enjoying passed hors d'oeuvres and a choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.

Are Kids Welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be limited to only children within our immediate families. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I Bring a Date?
Answer
If your Save the Date or Wedding Invitation included "and guest" - yes! If your Save the Date or Wedding Invitation included only your name - no! Thank you for helping us stay on budget and keeping the guest list to include those we care about most.

Do I Need to Mail Back My RSVP or Can I Do it Online?
Answer
We've given our guests the option of both! You can RSVP online by visiting the RSVP tab. You can RSVP with the pre-stamped envelope via USPS once we send out invitations. We ask that you please RSVP by 08/01/2022

Will Food and Drinks be Served at the Reception?
Answer
We have so much planned for you to enjoy! Immediately following the ceremony, the bar will be open, and hors d'oeuvres will be passed around. Following cocktail hour, a seated dinner will be served. The seated dinner includes, salad & bread and an entrée of your choosing. For after dinner, there will be a cookie table adorned with the Bride and Groom's favorite sweet treats. Finally, we will have a late night snack of 3 different kinds of tacos and churros with assorted toppings. Come Hungry!!

What's For Dinner?

As of right now, the menu offerings are as follows: Chicken Option: Chicken Au Jus, Roasted Root Veggies, and 3 Cheese Risotto Beef: Beef Barbacoa, Plantains, Poblano Risotto Cake Vegan: Poblano Pepper, stuffed with zucchini and corn, topped with red pepper sauce, 3 Cheese Risotto**, and plantains ** not vegan All options will be served a salad with champagne vinaigrette and fresh bread.

Can I Take and Post Pictures of the Wedding on Social Media?
Answer
During the Ceremony - We ask that no photography or phones be out during the ceremony as we want you all to be present for our big moment. After the Ceremony - YES PLEASE! Make sure to use our wedding hashtag #boosaysido so we can cherish the moments you captured forever. There will also be a photo booth available so you can always remember the good times you had on our day!
