Q+A
Question

Should I book through the preferred Travel company for this destination wedding?

Answer

Yes, Booking through the preferred travel company ensures that you are accounted for as part of the wedding group, making it easier for the couple to plan and accommodate all their guests. Additionally, this helps keep expenses organized and manageable for the bride and groom while ensuring a seamless and coordinated experience for everyone attending. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Question

Do I need a passport to attend the destination wedding?

Answer

Yes, if the wedding is in another country, you will need a valid passport. Make sure your passport is up-to-date and not set to expire within six months of travel.

Question

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

It’s best to book as soon as possible to secure your spot, as rooms at the resort may be limited. Keep an eye out for instructions on deposits and deadlines provided by the couple or the travel agent.

Question

What should I budget for this trip?

Answer

Aside from accommodations, you’ll want to budget for your airfare, travel insurance, excursions, and any optional activities or purchasing souvenirs. The travel agent can provide cost estimates to help you plan accordingly.

Question

Will transportation be provided from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Yes, transfers are included in the package for everyone arriving before 6pm Dominican Republic time.

Question

Can I bring a gift to the destination wedding?

Answer

Yes, gifts are always appreciated, however, it may be lighter on you to either bring cash with you for the couple, purchase from their gift registry to mail to their home or contribute to their honeymoon fund.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it's specifically indicated on your invitation. For example, your invitation would list "(your name) & Guest". For families, it will list "(your name & family") when you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.

Question

Are Kids Welcomed?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. This pertains to children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. If we are unable to invite your children we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and hope that you will be able to celebrate with us.

Question

Would it be appropriate to wear white, cream, or off-white attire to the destination wedding events (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception)?

Answer

In respect of the couple, we ask that no guests (men and women) wear white, cream, off-white or any similar shades to the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. These colors are reserved exclusively for the bride. Please note that any guest wearing these colors will be politely asked to return to their room to change before joining the festivities.
