Our story began in 2009 at Massaponax High School in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where we met during our freshman year. What started as a close friendship grew stronger with every passing year. We were best friends first, sharing laughter, dreams, and countless memories before realizing that what we had was something truly extraordinary. Our feelings for each other developed naturally over time, blossoming into a love that felt both familiar and new. Fast forward to August 6, 2021—our first official date. On that beautiful evening, we rode the Ferris wheel at The National Harbor, enjoying a stunning sunset over the water. The night continued with an intimate steakhouse dinner, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our relationship. Over the years, our journey has been filled with unforgettable moments. From our first international couples’ trip to Cartagena, Colombia, to riding horses in the ocean in the Cayman Islands, visiting New York City during Christmas, and checking adventures off our bucket list, each experience has brought us closer. Traveling together is something we both cherish, and we can’t wait to create even more memories around the world. Even in the quieter moments, our love shines. We cherish spending time with our dog Psalm, cooking together, going to the gym, enjoying brunch, attending Cincinnati Bengals football games, and spontaneous car dates or ordering takeout from our favorite restaurants. Some of our most joyful times are spent at home, binge-watching crime TV shows, blasting music, singing, and dancing together in the comfort of our shared space. The Proposal On August 10, 2024, Tony orchestrated a surprise proposal that perfectly captured the essence of our relationship. He had been planning it for two months, but I had no idea. I thought we were simply going out to dinner to celebrate our three-year anniversary. Instead, surrounded by our closest family and friends, Tony asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I couldn’t believe it was actually happening, and in that moment, my heart overflowed with love and gratitude. The Wedding As we prepare to say “I do,” we’ve chosen the stunning Hyatt Ziva and Zilara Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, as the perfect destination for our special day. Our love for travel, delicious food, and great vibes made this all-inclusive resort the ideal setting to celebrate with our family and friends.
