Rent a Car

We’d recommend renting a car and try to pair up with others. An uber to Topanga Canyon will likely be pricey, and once you get there, you’ll want a car… Topanga is a little cut off from the rest of LA, without the best service. Honestly don’t think there’s a grocery store in the canyon, but there’s plenty of eateries! Malibu is about a 5-10 minute drive down the canyon road, and Woodland Hills is about 5-10 minute drive out the top of the canyon.

AirBNBs in Topanga

We’re recommending folks get an Air BNB in the canyon! While there are hotels in Woodland Hills, Topanga’s magic is in the experience of falling asleep to the peepers and waking up with sun and a nice cup of coffee on the porch. If you need help finding accommodations- let us know!

Shuttle

Shuttle from The 1909 to AirBNBs

Topanaga’s roads are tight and windy, which means we’re only able to do 15 person vans for shuttles. We’ll have 3 shuttles running throughout the canyon. Since It can be very hard to get shuttles up and down some of the Topanga roads, we’re asking you share your AirBnB address with us so we can confirm if the shuttles can access. There’ll be one shuttle run from 1pm until the ceremony at 3pm, and the shuttles will start up again at 9pm (music ends at 10:30). Note: Shuttles only apply to Topanga Canyon, if you stay in Woodland Hills you will need to drive to and fro or plan for a cab/uber to pick you up.
