We first met in the most adorable, unromantic way possible — as kids at his grandma’s daycare. Sticky fingers, nap mats, snack time negotiations… the real foundations of lasting love. We were just two little humans learning our ABCs, completely unaware that we were also meeting someone who would one day mean everything. Life, of course, carried us in different directions. Different schools, different seasons, different stories unfolding. For a while, we were just a sweet, distant childhood memory. And then — as only God can orchestrate — we found our way back to each other at Bible memory camp. Older. A little wiser. Definitely taller. Somewhere between reciting verses and sharing laughs, something felt familiar. Comfortable. Like coming home to a place you didn’t even realize you missed. What started as casual conversations turned into long talks. Long talks turned into intentional time. And in the middle of it all, we realized something simple but powerful: We were exactly what the other had been praying for. What began with crayons and snack cups grew into something steady, faith-filled, and deeply intentional. Our story wasn’t rushed. It was revisited. Restored. Redeemed in perfect timing. From daycare classmates to faith-centered partners — we didn’t just find each other again. We found our forever. <3
