Do I need a rental car?
Answer
No. All accommodations are within walking distance of the gondola, venue, and shuttle stop. Shuttles can be arranged to and from the Montrose airport. If you’d like to explore the area and not have to schedule a shuttle feel free to rent a car.

Where do I fly in?
Answer
Although Telluride has an airport flights are limited and expensive. Montrose Regional Airport is the closest airport. It is 1.5hrs away. You can schedule a shuttle to get you to Telluride or you can rent a car. A car is not necessary as the town is small and walkable.

Please see the Travel Page for hotel options If there are financial constraints the Bivvy Hostel is an affordable option but you will need a car as it is 25min outside of town. There are various campgrounds nearby as well.

What do I do in town?
Answer
Telluride is lovely and there is so much to do. The Visit Telluride website is a great resource for events and happenings. Bars: Sheridan Rooftop or Old bar, Last Dollar Saloon (The Buck), Ride Lounge. Restaurants: Sheridan $$$, National $$$, Petite Maison $$$, Cosmopolitan $$ (sit at the main bar for a killer special), Cornerhouse $, Butcher and Baker $$, Brown Dog Pizza $$ Things to do: Telluride History Museum, ride the gondola, mountain bike park, kids area in Mountain Village Hiking: Bear Creek Trail - steady incline 4miles, Jud Weibe - steep 3.5miles, Cornet Creek - steady incline 1mile

Can I bring my children ?
Answer
No* unless otherwise specified children are unable to attend the ceremony or reception. If you’d like to make a vacation out of it and have them come on the trip here that is fine. There are baby sitter options available but are limited. Please plan ahead.

What if I can’t handle altitude?
Answer
Most events will take place at 9k ft or below. Please keep in mind that Montrose is much lower. If you need to stay there one night to acclimate that is a good option. If you are feeling unwell please get on oxygen and the first signs - loss of appetite, poor sleep, trouble breathing, headache, nausea. Please keep in mind alcohol effects you much harder at this elevation.

Summer formal. Ladies long fun dresses. Men button ups and slacks or suit coat. Please avoid wearing black or white Our colors our soft sunset colors like on our invites. Gold, blush, tan, pink, terra cotta
