The best is yet to come

It was summer 2016. Encouraged to meet through a mutual friend, Alexa was skeptical at first. After all, could he really be as perfect for her as her friend implied? When they met at the bar later that night with friends, Tommy shook her hand & said, "Your hands are rough, do you lift weights?" By the end of the night, they left with each other's phone numbers, a gym date offer, and the feeling that they just met their soulmate. After almost three years of battling competing schedules, nursing school & overnight hospital shifts, & living just far enough apart to be inconvenient, Tommy decided that if they could make it through this, they could make it through anything - so he popped the question in June 2019. And here we are now, getting ready for our big day & the start of our forever.
