Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While of course we love your little ones, due to guest count and numbers we will not have space. We hope you can arrange to join us and take the weekend off!

Question

Any tips?

Answer

Carpool! Please help us (and the environment) by carpooling as much as you can! Parking is limited on the Ranch, so help where you can. Please please please!

Question

Is there cell phone service?

Answer

Cell phones do not work on the Ranch. There is a landline should you need to contact anyone. Please let us know if you need the number in advance.

Question

How do we get to Redwood Ranch?

Answer

It is best to print the directions, as reception gets a bit spotty as you get closer to the Ranch. Directions from 198 EAST: Take a right onto Old Three Rivers Drive. Continue up, keep right onto Blossom, and make a right at the 3-way onto South Fork Dr. Redwood Ranch is 7 miles away (approx 20 - 30 mins. drive). Slower is better on these mountain roads. About 20 minutes up you will see the group of mailboxes that include ours- do not turn here- continue up South Fork. When you see the “Rio Rosa” ranch gate you are almost there! We are the next ranch. You will see our white pasture fence with the metal Redwood Tree mounted to the right of the gate. Through gate and to the bottom, we will see you there!

Question

What time should we arrive Saturday?

Answer

If you are camping or want to just come hang at the River, set up is allowed starting at 3pm. Get your site set up and beers flowing. If you are at a hotel or home rental, feel free to check into your hotel and come up for a swim, or stay in town for dinner and come up for Aloha Night after. Aloha Night should be going by 6.

Question

Any camping tips?

Answer

You are encouraged to tent camp as we have limited parking on The Ranch. Please also be bear aware, bring a bear container for ALL food! Or if you bring a stocked cooler, we will have a space for you to put it. Also NO FIRES. Smoking, campfires and all are very dangerous. The Golden State is dry. Please be careful.

Question

What else should we bring?

Answer

SWIMSUITS. We are hoping the river hasn't dried up by end of September and we can relax and swim by day. If camping, any food and snacks you want for in-between meals. Please use a bear container. Saturday will be beer and wine, and light food. Sunday is an open day. Plan on having brunch in town or on the Ranch (BYO). Dinner will be served after cocktail hour. Monday brunch will be served. Followed by dinner for guests who can stay. Please let us know if you can make it!

Question

Can we car camp?

Answer

There are limited spots for car camping. Please let us know if you plan on car camping, we will do our best to fit you!

Question

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

So sorry! But unfortunately we are not having dogs due to the nature of the ranch and the amount of animals already there. Thank you for understanding!
