Hello friends, When Erica and I started talking about having a wedding, we had some prerequisites for what kind of site we wanted: something country, no curfew, no noise limitations, & on-site camping. We found one place we thought could work, and low and behold they just happened to have a cancellation in late September. So we jumped on it! The location is just below one of the entrances to Sequoia National Park, near the town of Three Rivers, on the South Fork of the Kaweah River. Well, at least it was a river at some point, because it carved out quite a ravine, but it’s more of a creek than a river now, and by late September, it should be just a trickle, but pretty nonetheless! There’s a great swimming hole on the property, and we’re hoping it will still be there for all of us in late September. If not, it doesn’t matter, because this is going to be a party, with or without a damn swimming hole. Our goal is casual, great food, and music all day and all night. There will be a stage and sound system for ALL of our musician friends to come and play. Across from the band stage will be a DJ set up, and between the two of them, we’ll have as big a dance floor as we can fit! We have the venue starting Saturday the 22nd, that’s when we’ll start setting everything up. Everyone is welcome to come Saturday evening, and campers are welcome to come a little earlier. Sunday is the wedding. And Monday, we will be hanging out all day and night. We don't have to leave the property until Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. You ALL are welcome to join us until Tuesday! We’re really looking forward to hanging on Monday as a married couple. Check the website for more details in regards to camping and accomodations. Also, please note that we’re hoping you will RSVP as to what nights you’re planning on being there with us so we can get the food on track. We will update this site as details come in.
