REI
Denver is the main headquarters for REI. This store is absolutely incredible for outdoor gear and backs up to Confluence Park which is a nice place for a walk along the river!
West Side Books
32nd Ave is a fun street with lots of restaurants and shops. This is Sam’s favorite bookstore!
16th Street Mall
If you enjoy shopping, taking a stroll, and people watching, 16th Street Mall is the place for you! There are many shops, restaurants, and bars to explore on this 1.25 mile strip!
Golden, Colorado
This is one of Allison’s favorite mountain towns near Denver. It has a lovely downtown and a boardwalk along Clear Creek as well as many fun hikes in the area!
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Red Rocks is about a 30 minute drive from Denver and is an amazing venue for concerts! If you’re up for a hike, we suggest you check out Matthews Winters Park and Red Rocks Trading Post Trail!
Rocky Mountain National Park
If you’ve got the extra time, you won’t regret spending a day or two at this national park! Download the app AllTrails and find several options for day hikes!
