Allison and Sam first met at mass last year and quickly found in each other a passionate and faith-filled partner, ready to encourage each other in life vocations to serve those less fortunate. Both have spent their adult lives after college in intentional and challenging endeavors to that end, especially among Latin American refugees, children, elderly, and the poor. When they began sharing those past experiences, current passions, and future ideas, they found the other not only receptive, but ready to expand those hopes of a life of service as a team. Allison and Sam began singing together at St. Dominic's in Denver, where they will be married, for worship nights early in their relationship. They enjoyed getting to know each other during the pandemic on socially-distanced roller-blading dates, hikes, bike rides, and soccer games in the park. Spending time in the mountains together is always a treat, including a long weekend of camping in early July when Sam proposed while on a 10-mile hike near Mt. Crested Butte among the beautiful wildflowers. Allison and Sam are overjoyed to enter into this sacrament of marriage together and appreciate your prayers and loving support! We hope you can join us to celebrate the beginning of our life together!
