Can I bring my kids?

While we love your kids (and ours), We also really really love you. Please plan to make arrangements at home for your children and enjoy an adult only weekend away to play!

What is the best way to get to Idyllwild from San Diego?

Answer

There are a few ways that take you there but on a Friday, be prepared to hit some traffic and alot about 3 hours. Its about a 2 hour drive with minimal traffic but you just NEVER know! :) Plan ahead and map your route! Also take into account the windy road vs. the longer less windy way if you get car sick.

Are there other restaurants at the Tahquitz Pines for breakfast or lunch?

Answer

The resort just opened a bar and restaurant onsite, which is GREAT! They also serve breakfast on weekends only. There are also LOTs of great eateries just a few minutes away if you wanted to go offsite and explore this magical town. The Red Kettle is one of my favorite breakfast spots but you can't go wrong here.

Question

There are lots of events. Do I need to participate in all of them?

Answer

Absolutely not! We are just people that want to make the most of this magical weekend with friends and we also can't sit still ourselves. Tommy and I will likely be at all of them, a hope you can join us for whatever sounds fun to you. Some of you may just want to spend some QT with your spouse or guest. NO WORRIES! Its a weekend away, and however you choose to spend it, is the way you should spend it!

Can I come for just the day?

Answer

Absolutely, but please do let us know what events you may likely attend for the day you plan to come. We do need a headcount finalized for our dinners on Friday and Saturday 14 days in advance.
