A Love 14 Years In The Making Our story first began in 2005. We met through a friend and began a young romance, but like most relationships that start at 15 years old, it, unfortunately, and sadly, did not last. Over the next decade or so, we both went our separate ways, went to college, got jobs, had relationships, all the things people do. But nothing ever felt real, something was missing. We reconnected on an Internet dating website and after an impromptu trip to Sonic, we had our second first date. Since then we have been inseparable. We’ve started careers, bought and renovated a house, and most importantly, got engaged.

Since the beginning of our relationship, trips to watch the sunset at Great Kills Park Marina were one of our regular dates. It is a beautiful spot on Staten Island where you can get a clear view of the sunset and the water. Naturally, it was the most fitting place to have our engagement. With the help of parents and friends (and a lot of planning) the scene was set. What was once a patch of grass turned into a beautiful blanket with candles and the words “marry me” lit up against the water and sunset backdrop. Thankfully Stephanie said yes and the rest is history. We're so excited to celebrate our special day with all of you. See you in The Fall!
