FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We invite you to dress to the nines as we celebrate this special day! Our attire is Black Tie Optional with a colorful, garden-inspired twist. Tuxedos are welcome, though suits and ties are preferred for men. Lightweight fabrics and lighter colored suits are especially encouraged. For women, we recommend breathable fabrics; bright colors and fun patterns are welcomed and encouraged.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP. If you aren't sure and want to confirm before making travel plans just ask!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all of our family and friends' children, but we are only able to accommodate children in our immediate family at our ceremony and reception. For out-of-town guests who wish to bring their children along, we are happy to provide you with our venue's list of recommended, background-checked babysitters and assist you in arranging their services in any way we can. We hope you will take this as a chance for a special date night! Children of out-of-town guests are welcome to attend the Welcome Party the evening of Friday, August 21st. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know ASAP if you have a true food allergy and we will do everything we can to accommodate!!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please check out our "travel" tab for hotel links.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot across the street. There are also many options for Ubers, Lyfts, taxis, etc. in Raleigh. If you choose to drive, you can leave your car overnight if it would be better for you to catch a ride home at the end of the night.
