Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Taylor Seifert and Tom Percin
We are so excited to share a few of our favorite places with you in the city we call home!
Madcap Coffee Company

Madcap Coffee Company

1413 Farmer Street, Detroit, MI 48226

Our favorite coffee shop. Most weekends are fueled by Madcap Coffee! Try our order: Iced Vanilla Cortado with Oat Milk

Huddle Soft Serve

Huddle Soft Serve

2 John R Street, Detroit, MI 48226

If you know Tom, you know a sweet treat is a must. Check out the Huddle Soft Serve window and maybe your name is the lucky one chosen for a free cone that day!

Bakersfield DET

Bakersfield DET

3100 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201

If you're on the T&T food tour, you will most likely catch us with a margarita in one hand and a taco in the other. This is our go to for before & after LCA events and any time a celebratory margarita pitchers is needed.

Grey Ghost Detroit

Grey Ghost Detroit

47 Watson Street, Detroit, MI 48201

If you know, you know...Grey Ghost has the best burger in town. Believe us, we've tried them all. T&T food tour approved!

Comerica Park

Comerica Park

2100 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201

Summers consist of Tigers baseball! We try to go to a handful of games every year. Sometimes even in the middle of the fourth inning scalping for cheap tickets on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, the Tigers are out of town during our wedding weekend, but take a walk around the stadium and see how many old english 'Ds' you can spot.

Ford Field

Ford Field

2000 Brush Street, Detroit, MI 48226

Home of Tom's pride and joy, the Detroit Lions. The season won't start for a month or so after the wedding, but you know you will find us there this fall. Take a look around what Tom's version of "God's Country" looks like.

Detroit RiverWalk

Detroit RiverWalk

Detroit RiverWalk, Detroit, MI

Get your steps in and enjoy the breeze from the Detroit Riverfront. Taylor loves this walk in the summer especially with an iced matcha in hand.

Eastern Market

Eastern Market

2934 Russell Street, Detroit, MI 48207

One of T&T’s favorite summertime weekend activities is Eastern Market. Check out the local vendors and enjoy the lively environment! Pro Tip: Mitsos Greek Food & Coffee has the best breakfast pita! Enough to share for two!

The BELT

The BELT

1274 Library Street, Detroit, MI 48226

A summer staple for us! Grab a drink at The Skip and check out all of the art the alley has to offer. The frozen margarita is a T&T favorite!

Campus Martius Park

Campus Martius Park

800 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48226

Check out one of America’s most iconic roundabouts! From ice skating in the winter to the sandy beach bar in the summer, you can find us here year round. Campus Martius is one of the few places T&T can go to actually touch grass in the summer and lord knows they need it sometimes!

Belle Isle

Belle Isle

Detroit, MI

Visit one of Michigan’s most unique state parks. Belle Isle is home to so much. You can find us here in the summer on the days we need a break from the city life. Taylor’s favorite activity is time spent at the beach, while Tom’s favorite is the 6-hole par 3 golf course. If those aren’t your thing take a hike through one of the trails or visit the conservatory or aquarium.

Corktown

Corktown

Detroit, MI

Corktown is home of the original brick roads and holds so much history to Detroit. Corktown hosts the original Tiger’s Stadium now revamped for local baseball teams to play. Once you’re done checking out the stadium make your way over to Michigan Central Station and see the newly remodeled and beautiful train station. T&T Recs: Ottava Via - great an Italian food and bocci ball courts in the back. Great for a summer day! Grandma Bob’s - the best Detroit style pizza in the city. You won’t regret the lobster pizza, we promise! James Oliver - coffee is great and some of the best bagels in town. A Sunday staple for us!
