Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! This is a casual event, so feel free to bring your little ones. We will have games at the wedding if they don't feel like dancing and if you let us know in advance we can have the caterer ensure there are enough kid-friendly bites.

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Yes, we will have two buses leaving the Oakland Marriott City Center hotel, listed on the Travel page at 3:30 and 4 PM to take guests to the ceremony 15 minutes away. The bus will make two return trips from the venue to the hotel at 10:00pm and 11:00pm. The second bus will also stop at Mad Oak so people can go directly to the after party. There is parking at the ceremony site for those that will not be drinking and want to get their own way there.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we are not monsters. The venue only allows beer and wine on-site so we will have multiple options for you to choose from (as well as plenty of non-alcoholic beverages) but if you want a mixed drink or hard liquor you will have to wait for the after party.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Summer cocktail attire. We want you to feel comfortable and let it all hang loose on the dance floor, so you make the call if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight.

When you RSVP there will be an option to list your guest but please reach out to Tom or Stephanie if you need clarification.

Is there any event on Sunday?

Answer

We don't have anything official planned but can give you lots of great breakfast/brunch options for those that don't have to catch an early flight out.
