Bridesmaid
Lara and Sarah met in 5th grade at Ithan Elementary but didn’t become attached at the hip until they were put into the same home room freshman year of high school. Between walking each other to class, morning swim practices, physics olympics challenges, and so much more, Lara and Sarah knew they had found someone to share their weirdness and love for life with. Despite living far away from each other since the end of high school, Skype sessions and the occasional summer road trip have kept them very close at heart.

Tom and Kevin have been best friends since birth. Literally. Even though they grew up in different states, frequent family get togethers provided a time for them to hang out on a consistent basis. Growing up, Kevin and Tom bonded over heavy metal, WWF(E), and rewatching movies like Dumb & Dumber until they could recite them entirely. Though their interests have now matured to things like disc golf, craft beer, and camping, the friendship between them has never been stronger. Kevin is the definition of a true friend until the end.

When sophomore roommate plans fell through for both Melissa and Sarah, some friends suggested they live together. Both being science geeks and athletes, Melissa and Sarah got along immediately, even living together junior and senior year, as well. Able to talk about anything and everything has kept these two close as Melissa moved to Boston for her PhD and then Ann Arbor for her post-doc.

Cody and Tom met during their Freshman year at the University of Maine at Orono. Soon after meeting, they knew that this would be a friendship for life. They lived for six years together, four of which included the post-graduation move to Portland. Cody introduced Tom to the world of hockey and various other things, and they have spent countless hours watching sports together, or playing Rocket Leage, Halo, and "Chel" until they were blue in the face. On most weekends during the winter, you'll find Cody, Tom, and Sarah skiing at one of the local mountains in Maine. Cody has been, and will continue to be, around for it all.

Sarah met Sonia when she was a senior in high school visiting Bowdoin as part of a recruiting trip for the swim team. The two hit it off immediately, but their friendship would have to wait as Sarah was abroad for the first semester of Sonia's freshman year. However, the purchase of matching tank tops on the swim team training trip to Florida that winter was one of many activities the two would do together over the next few years at Bowdoin! Although they now live on separate coasts, no distance could keep these two apart!
Groomsman
Matt, better known as George to the friend group, met Tom at Cody's apartment during his Senior year of college. Matt and Tom really bonded when they moved into their first Portland apartment together. Even though George moved in with his now wife after two years in Portland, their friendship has become even stronger over the years. George has been a great friend who is always up for an adventure. Between disc golf, attempting to "mow across Portland," and rides in the "Millennium Trashcan," George is always ready and available for anything and everything.

When Sarah C arrived at Yarmouth High School in the spring of 2016 for an orientation as a newly hired history teacher, Sarah H new immediately that they would be best friends. During Sarah C's first year at Yarmouth, the two of them were often referred to as "the Sarahs". Moving in as roommates the next year made it even more obvious to teachers and students alike how strong their bond was. Dressing like twins on purpose and by accident was a frequent occurrence. Thanks to Sarah C, Sarah H was able to complete her first marathon, and the two hope to have many more adventures in the future!
Groomsman
Dan, at first known as "Cousin Dan" (as he's Cody's cousin), and Tom have been true friends ever since moving to Portland. Being one third of the "Bungalow Boys" with Cody and Tom, they will always share a love of disc golf, ping pong, and road races always followed by delicious beers. To this day, no one has impressed Tom with dance moves as much as Dan. Though his work took him to Massachusetts too soon, Dan always finds time to come back up to Maine to ski, camp, or simply return to his old stomping grounds to see his friends.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is Tom's older sister and Sarah's soon-to-be sister. Rachel and Tom have a long history of a strong sibling bond. Well, other than that time she put Tom in a stroller at the top of a hill and told him not to move (spoiler alert...he moved, and so did the stroller). Though they are over five years apart, the two have always gotten along famously. She has always been a role-model for Tom. He always followed her footsteps from working at the same hotel, going to the same college, and even becoming a teacher! Rachel and Sarah have quickly formed a strong relationship as well! Even though Sarah's character killed Rachel's during a murder mystery party early on in the relationship, they've rebounded nicely. Rae isn't just a sister or a future sister-in-law, she's a true friend to both.
Groomsman
Will is Sarah's younger brother and has a much cooler life than she does. Living in Colorado, Will gets to spend his free time skiing, snowboarding, paddle boarding, hiking, watching outdoor concerts, and the list goes on. Sarah and Will are only 2 and a half years apart in age so they did a lot together growing up. From swimming on the same summer team (where Will's 8 and under relay still holds a record!) to golf camp and visiting each other in college, the two have shared many fantastic memories together. Although Maine and Colorado aren't close, they make an effort to be home for the holidays each year. Tom bonded with Will over one such holiday visit, and now the two share the honor of both being cat dads to orange kitties!
