Things To Do

We're so excited to have our friends and family join us in KC! Here are a few of our favorite local spots.
Country Club Plaza

Country Club Plaza

4706 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64112

A truly iconic Kansas City destination: the Plaza. The Plaza is best known for its Spanish-style architecture and many fountains, and is a great place to shop, grab a coffee, and enjoy a stroll. We might be biased since we've lived on the Plaza for the last five years, but it's our favorite neighborhood in KC!

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

4525 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO 64111

The Nelson is such a gem — a true KC must, whether you want to wander the galleries or explore its beautiful gardens. We've spent a lot of time here over the years. (It's also a great place to escape the heat!)

Boulevard Brewing Company

Boulevard Brewing Company

2534 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64108

Another Kansas City classic — a great place to hang out and enjoy KC's most iconic local beers. Their brewery tours and tastings are super fun!

Mildred's

Mildred's

1901 Wyandotte St, Kansas City, MO 64108

Mildred's is the place to go if you're looking to get a good breakfast/brunch/lunch in the Crossroads. Great coffee, great food, great atmosphere — it's a Crossroads staple for a reason!

City Market

City Market

20 East 5th Street, Kansas City, MO 64106

The City Market is the place to be on a weekend morning! The market is full of local goods, and there are tons of fantastic restaurant options. It's accessible by streetcar, and is the perfect spot to wander around and enjoy downtown KC.

Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop

Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop

2030 Central Street, Kansas City, MO 64108

We went to Lulu's on our first date (since high school, anyway), and honestly, we still think it's the best. A great place to grab a bite in the Crossroads—excellent vibes, even better food. And right across from the Crossroads Hotel.
